One night last December, in Gig Harbor, Washington, a restaurant co-worker told Brevin Cronk that his lips had turned blue. He made haste for a nearby emergency room, which measured his blood-oxygen at 77%, well shy of the 90% level that doctors consider "low."
Precisely quantifying the amount of three different HER growth proteins, along with several other proteins believed linked to breast cancer, did not predict a patient's outcome after treatment for HER2-Positive Breast Cancer with Herceptin, say Mayo Clinic researchers.
PlastiPure, a safer-plastics technology company, has announced a partnership with ReliaBrand to license infant feeding, sports bottle, food packaging, and medical products free of harmful chemicals that cause estrogenic activity (EA). Chemicals with EA have been strongly linked to adverse health effects such as birth defects, reproductive cancers, and behavioral and learning disorders.
