UK study results show that individuals with severe mental illness who live in the community and receive community-based psychiatric care have poorer oral health than the national adult population.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today approved Nucala (mepolizumab) for use with other asthma medicines for the maintenance treatment of asthma in patients age 12 years and older. Nucala is approved for patients who have a history of severe asthma attacks (exacerbations) despite receiving their current asthma medicines.
Boehringer Ingelheim and Eli Lilly and Company today announced new data from a Phase IV study evaluating linagliptin (5 mg) as monotherapy and in combination with metformin (1500 or 2000 mg) in treatment-naive adults with newly diagnosed (<12 months) uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes.
The peer groups teenage girls identify with determine how they decide to control their own figure. So reports a new study by Dr. Eleanor Mackey from the Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC, and her colleague Dr. Annette La Greca from the University of Miami.
