A unique study by scientists at the National Oceanography Centre will provide valuable new insights into the concentrations of microplastics in the open ocean from surface to the sea bed.
British researchers from Cardiff University looked at 14 studies that included a total of 3,583 women who had undergone fertility treatment and been assessed for anxiety and stress before they began their therapy. They compared women who became pregnant and those who did not and noted that there was no association between emotional distress and the likelihood of becoming pregnant. The results were published in the online edition of British Medical Journal on Feb. 24.
Aralez Pharmaceuticals Inc., a global specialty pharmaceutical company, today announced that it has resubmitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration the New Drug Application ("NDA") for its investigational candidate, YOSPRALA (PA32540/PA8140) for the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients at risk for aspirin-induced gastric ulcers.
