At a ceremony held in Abidjan, the World Cocoa Foundation today announced the launch of the Cocoa Livelihoods Program (CLP) in Cote d'Ivoire. The program, first announced in February 2009, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 14 chocolate industry companies, is expected to significantly improve the livelihoods of 75,000 cocoa farmers in Cote d'Ivoire by 2014.
A play-based therapy aimed at helping parents manage children's behavior has seen long-lasting results in a live trial.
"There will be an opportunity for the public to provide input on breast implants and no regulatory decisions have been made at this point. My officials have been looking at several models over the last few weeks to determine how best to receive public input," the Minister said.
