A new treatment that combines two existing medications may provide long-sought relief for many battling debilitating methamphetamine use disorder, according to a study to be published tomorrow in The New England Journal of Medicine.
Calypso Medical Technologies, Inc., a developer of targeting technology used for accurate, precise real-time tracking of tumor targets, today announced the online publication of a clinical study in Urology (The GOLD JOURNAL). The prospective, multi-site study, entitled, "Assessing the Impact of Margin Reduction (AIM)," is the first outcomes-based study to evaluate the quality of life of high-dose intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) to the prostate with tightly contoured treatment technically described as "reduced treatment margins."
University of Kansas officials have reported to the FBI a computer hacking on Friday, April 2, into electronic pharmacy records in the Student Health Services at Watkins Memorial Health Center. Marilu Goodyear, KU vice provost for information services, said surveillance software alerted KU officials to the intrusion, and technicians immediately disabled the affected computer server.
