The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is alerting hospitals, health care providers, veterinarians, and patients of a voluntary recall of certain human and veterinary products produced and distributed for sterile use by Specialty Medicine Compounding Pharmacy of South Lyon, Mich.

Aeolus Pharmaceuticals' AEOL 10150 effective against mustard gas exposure

Aeolus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. reported that researchers from National Jewish Health and Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute have completed a series of preliminary studies demonstrating that AEOL 10150 protects lungs from whole mustard gas exposure in rats. Data were presented at the Regional CounterACT Countermeasures Against Chemical Threats Conference in Albuquerque, NM.
