Donate Life to honor 10 deceased Hispanic organ and tissue donors with floragraphs

Accellent to sell Pittsburgh facility to Perryman

Accellent Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accellent Holdings Corp., has entered into an agreement to sell its facility located just outside of Pittsburgh in Houston, Pennsylvania to The Perryman Company, also headquartered in Houston, Pennsylvania. Substantially all of the Facility's employees will become employees of Perryman effective upon completion of the sale, which is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2012.

Ban Chlorpyrifos and Diazinonon Impacts Child Birth Weights

A federal ban on two insecticides has resulted in a significant reduction in their impact on newborns' birth weight and length, according to a new study funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences of the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and other private foundations.
