New research out of St. Michael's Hospital has found that despite popular belief, the flu shot is effective in preventing the flu, even if the virus going around does not match the vaccine.
Silence Therapeutics plc today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued the company a notice of allowance on a patent application directed to methods of treatment using a high-value therapeutic target in the area of oncology. Known as PKN-3, the target is a protein kinase C-related molecule that is believed to play an important role in the growth of cancer cells, as well as metastasis formation.
NuFACE is thrilled to announce the launch the FDA cleared Trinity Wrinkle Remover, a red light attachment for the NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning Device. The removable attachment is engineered with advanced LEDs to deliver a precise combination of red and infrared light therapy treatments to reduce full face wrinkles.
A study performed by University of Kentucky researchers shows promise for the use of azithromycin in treating Ureaplasma-colonized or infected premature infants to prevent bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD).
