The new limits on hours that physicians-in-training can work will prove costly for U.S teaching hospitals, which will need to spend up to $1.3 billion a year, and possibly more, to effect the changes, a new UCLA study suggests.
A new set of computer models has successfully predicted negative side effects in hundreds of current drugs, based on the similarity between their chemical structures and those molecules known to cause side effects, according to a paper appearing online this week in the journal Nature.
When staff from a leading orthopaedic group grew tired of struggling to apply the difficult to adjust and uncomfortable cubital tunnel splints available on the market, they enlisted Professional Products, Inc.
