Aradigm Corporation today announced positive top line data from its recently concluded 6-month Phase 2b study (ORBIT-2) with Aradigm's once-daily dual release ciprofloxacin for inhalation (DRCFI, ARD-3150) in patients with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis.
Men experience a marked drop in their testosterone levels when taking a targeted therapy to control a specific type of lung cancer. That's according to a University of Colorado Cancer Center study published in the April issue of Cancer, the official journal of the American Cancer Society.
Menthol cigarette use is higher among persons who started smoking in the past year (44.6 percent) than among longer-term smokers (31.8 percent) according to a new study by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Viral hepatitis is one of the leading causes of non-AIDS-related deaths among people living with HIV, yet often goes undiagnosed.
