Allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation can be considered for chronic- and accelerated-phase chronic myeloid leukaemia patients with prior exposure to second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors, say Polish researchers.
Targacept, Inc. today announced top-line results from a Phase 2 trial of TC-5619 as a treatment for inattentive-predominant attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHDi). In the trial, TC-5619 did not meet the primary outcome measure, change from baseline on the inattention subscale of the Conners' Adult ADHD Rating Scale-Investigator-Rated (CAARS-INV), after four weeks of treatment versus placebo.
A study led by researchers at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center found that axi-cel, an autologous anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy, is a safe and effective first-line therapy for patients with high-risk large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL), a group with an urgent need for new and effective treatments.
