Independent investigators reported today full results from the NEO3-09 study, reaffirming earlier top-line results that showed Lymphoseek met all primary and secondary endpoints and exhibited superior performance to vital blue dye in intraoperative lymphatic mapping (ILM) procedures.
A coalition of 11 academic institutions and their community partners across California has received a $4.1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health for a statewide community-engaged approach to addressing COVID-19 among populations that have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
Severely obese patients who had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery had significant weight loss that was sustained for an average of 6 years after the surgery and also experienced frequent remission and lower incidence of diabetes, hypertension, and abnormal cholesterol levels, compared to participants who did not have the surgery, according to a study in the September 19 issue of JAMA, and theme issue on obesity.
