NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, and leading provider of healthcare information systems and connectivity solutions, today announced an agreement with Wills Eye Health System to deploy NextGen® Ambulatory EHR and NextGen® Practice Management.
In a recent study by US researchers (currently available on the medRxiv* preprint server), a specific immunoassay based on the spike glycoprotein's receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is not only well suited for the detection of antibody response after infection and vaccination but may also represent a method of choice when conducting seroepidemiological studies.
NPR: "The Department of Veterans Affairs is struggling to cope with tens of thousands of veterans filing for disability benefits. Because there are applicants from two current wars — plus a new wave from the first Gulf War and Vietnam — thousands are now stuck in the clogged pipeline." Although there are differing estimates of how many, "everyone agrees that way too many vets are waiting way too long to get benefits.
Vitamin D – an essential for healthy bones and calcium in the body, is prepared by the body when the skin is exposed to sunlight. A daily exposure of around 10 to 15 days is considered to be adequate for fulfilling the needs of vitamin D in the body.
