Government authorities in the United States are gunning for companies peddling bogus cancer cures.
Despite Tylenol's product recalls and plant closure, the company still outpaces Advil in brand loyalty among consumers, according to a research study released today.
Advaxis, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing cancer immunotherapies, has entered into a clinical trial collaboration with MedImmune, the global biologics research and development arm of AstraZeneca.
Investigators from the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, and the Institute of Cancer Research, London, have discovered that some cancer cells can draw blood from existing mature blood vessels allowing them to continue to spread.
Each year, some 196,000 children are hospitalized in the United States with asthma attacks. In addition to the severe breathing problems that the children may experience, it also costs the health care system an estimated $835 million to treat them.
