NANDA International (NANDA-I), an international association of nursing professionals, has announced the recipients of its 2010 NANDA-I awards. The awards were presented at the May 2010 NANDA-I / AENTDE Congress in Madrid, Spain, to recognize outstanding contributions to NANDA-I and standardized nursing language in the areas of clinical practice, nursing education, administration, informatics and research.
Researchers isolated single cells among individuals with and without prior infection with the SARS-CoV-2 vaccinated with BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine and compared the nature of the neutralizing antibody response against the original Wuhan virus and the subsequent variants.
An antibody test for the virus that causes COVID-19, developed by researchers at The University of Texas at Austin in collaboration with Houston Methodist and other institutions, is more accurate and can handle a much larger number of donor samples at lower overall cost than standard antibody tests currently in use.
Supporting its quest through healthymagination to reach more patients with better health care globally, GE has joined with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to create a Medical Electronic Device Realization Center at MIT.
Many expensive programs are exempt from the trigger cuts, including most that are considered "mandatory," which means that some of the largest joint state-federal programs aren't vulnerable. Those include Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (welfare) and the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program.
