Based on research conducted at the Center for Drug Design at the University of Minnesota, startup Vytacera Pharma Inc. will develop and market Sulfanegen, a treatment for cyanide poisoning. US-based researchers have identified a panel of 12 proteins that may help predict overall survival and the risk of recurrence in patients treated with surgery for non-small-cell lung cancer.
