A multicenter research team led jointly by Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has received a five-year, $9.5 million grant to further evaluate whether brain imaging can help detect very high risk of autism spectrum disorder in early infancy.
Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp., a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing, and commercializing small molecule drugs to treat severe medical conditions, today announced that Dr. Jonathan Goldman, M.D., Premiere Oncology will present interim results from a Phase 2 trial of ganetespib in non-small cell lung cancer at the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer 11th Annual Targeted Therapies for the Treatment of Lung Cancer Meeting.
The increasing prevalence of lifestyle-related health risks coupled with the lack of resources in preventative healthcare calls for novel and cost-efficient methods for supporting citizens in their independent health and well-being management.
