New perspectives are opening up in bio-engineering thanks to research jointly carried out by teams of chemists at the University of Liège and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem within the framework of the European MOLOC project (Molecular Logic Circuits). This work has led to the publication of two important publications, one straight after the other, in the Nature Nanotechnology journal.
BIBA Research, the UK-based market research specialists for the medical technology industry, announced today that the latest findings from their Transcatheter Heart Valve report will be released on 26 April. The report covers the data period January-March 2010 and is part of BIBA Research's long-established European Cardiovascular Monitor.
The Chinese government has stopped the gene editing works of Professor He Jiankui calling it unlawful and unethical. Notably Professor Jiankui had recently claimed to have produced the world's first pair of twins who have their genetic codes edited so that they would never be infected with HIV.
