Opexa Therapeutics, Inc., a company developing a novel T-cell therapy for multiple sclerosis, announced today that the Company has been selected to present key Tovaxin data at the upcoming American Academy of Neurology 63rd Annual Meeting to be held in Honolulu, Hawaii April 9-16, 2011.
MGC Diagnostics Corporation, a global medical technology company, today reported financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2012, ended July 31, 2012.
"A summit designed to kickstart a joint effort by world leaders to address hunger and malnutrition will be held in London on 12 August to coincide with the closing day of the Olympics, the British government has announced," the Guardian reports.
A team of scientists at Johns Hopkins and in Texas has identified a handful of genetic mutations in black Americans, in addition to some chemical alterations affecting gene activity, which may help explain why the death rate among African-Americans from the most common form of head and neck cancer continues to hover some 18 percent higher above the death rate of whites with the same cancer.
