BioMedix Vascular Solutions, Inc. announced today that John Romans, CEO and Meg Heim, RN, Vice President of Marketing have been invited to participate as members of the P.A.D. Task Force Committee on behalf of the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, The California Podiatric Medical Association and the California Department of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention (CDPH). The committee will meet today, February 4th, 2010 in the California State Capitol, Governors conference room.
A University of Illinois at Chicago researcher will test whether brain stimulation combined with gait training can improve patients' ability to walk after a stroke, under a $1.5 million grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
Installed in the University of Adelaide's Medical School, it will be used to collect data for the pilot study of human body size and shape for the future Body Size Survey of the Australian population.
Scientists from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) have jointly developed a new nanomedicine that will allow glaucoma patients to do away with daily eye drops.
