In a discovery that could offer valuable new insights into understanding, diagnosing and even treating autism, Harvard scientists for the first time have linked a specific neurotransmitter in the brain with autistic behavior.
Independent maternal demographic factors such as social status, ethnicity and maternal age can predict the likelihood of operative births in the UK, according to a new study published today (20 March) in BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
NovoStent® Corporation, a privately held medical device company, today announced that it has received CE Mark for its SAMBATM Stent and Delivery System for the treatment of peripheral artery disease. The SAMBA Stent was designed to treat the highly varied presentation of atherosclerotic disease in the superficial femoral (SFA) and popliteal arteries by providing a unique combination of strength, flexibility and vessel coverage.
