Two reports from AmericanEHR Partners based on a survey of nearly 1,400 physicians suggests that tablets are of greater use for clinical purposes than smartphones.
Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc. a developer of oral drug delivery systems, announced today that its work entitled "Extended exposure to an oral insulin formulation yields decreased insulin secretion in Type II diabetes subjects," will be presented at the Tenth Annual Meeting of the Diabetes Technology Society, to be held in Bethesda, Maryland this November.
The findings of a clinical trial by Trinity College Dublin researchers of treatment for atopic dermatitis have been published today in The Lancet journal (Friday, 21st May, 2021).
The global nursing shortage is due in part to a lack of faculty in nursing schools and to a phenomenon known as nurse migration, where nurses leave their country of origin to work elsewhere. In response, the International Council of Nurses and the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, supported by The Elsevier Foundation, will conduct the Global Summit on Nurse Faculty Migration-a meeting of nurse experts who will examine the problem, and identify realistic and measurable solutions.
Dr. Chris Berger, CMB Interim Director and Director of Graduate Education for the College of Medicine, announced the winner of the 2014 Norman R. Alpert Award at the annual Graduate Research Day for the CMB Program event held October 2, 2014. Jacqueline Leung, a graduate student in the Cellular, Molecular and Biosciences (CMB) Program at the University of Vermont won for her publication, "Identification of T. gondii Myosin Light Chain-1 as a Direct Target of TachypleginA-2, a Small-Molecule Inhibitor of Parasite Motility and Invasion."1
