A study published today in The Journal of Pediatrics suggests that early-onset pancreatitis in children is strongly associated with certain genetic mutations and family history of pancreatitis.
With the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths increasing with each passing day, the need for a therapeutic or a vaccine for the pandemic intensifies.
Transgenomic, Inc. and the Medical College of Wisconsin today announced a collaboration agreement under which Transgenomic will offer next-generation genetic testing services performed at the MCW Clinical Sequencing Program. These services will initially include Transgenomic's NuclearMitome Test for mitochondrial disorders.
