UPMC Health Plan announced today that it has signed an agreement to offer award-winning brain fitness software from Posit ScienceĀ®, at no cost, to all UPMC for Life Medicare Advantage members.
Oberthur Technologies, a global leader in the delivery of high security solutions and the #1 provider of smart credentials to the U.S. Federal government, is supplying doctors and first responders with FIPS 201 compliant, physical and logical access Personal Identify Verification (PIV) cards to assist in response to disaster.
A recent study by researchers in France has compared the spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) variants of concern. The team found a significant transmission advantage of V2 (from lineage B.1.351) over V1 (from lineage B.1.1.7). A pre-print version of the research paper is available on the medRxiv* server.
