A research team at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin has explored the role of factors in embryonic development that do not alter the sequence of DNA, but only epigenetically modify its "packaging"
Taking the epilepsy drug topiramate alone or along with other epilepsy drugs during pregnancy may increase the risk of birth defects, according to a study published in the July 22, 2008, issue of Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology.
DS Waters of America, Inc., a leader in home and office bottled water, water filtration and office coffee delivery service, today announced it has extended its current partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure until January 30, 2016, extending the parties' prior commitment by an additional five years. The modified agreement also adds water filtration to the list of products associated with Komen for the Cure.
A non-invasive diagnostic test for early-stage bronchial carcinoma (lung cancer) was presented at White Rose Bioscience Forum in York yesterday (03 November).
