A new Northwestern Medicine study showed cognitive SuperAgers have resistance to the development of fibrous tangles in a brain region related to memory and which are known to be markers of Alzheimer's disease.
New research conducted at San Diego State University has shown the relationship between adolescent life satisfaction and screen time. The study, published in the journal Emotion, found that Teenagers who are constantly glued to their smartphones are significantly less happy.
"More children survived past their fifth birthday and attended school at the end of the 2000s than a decade before, but a rise in acute malnutrition could undermine these unprecedented gains," according to a report released Thursday by Save the Children, AlertNet reports.
