Forest Laboratories, Inc. and Gedeon Richter Plc. today announced positive top-line results in 2 Phase III clinical trials of cariprazine (RGH-188) for the treatment of acute exacerbation of schizophrenia.
A Japanese study shows that intraocular pressure increases during robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy with the patient in a steep Trendelenburg position, but this is not associated with an increased risk for postoperative complications or changes in visual function.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced today that it is awarding up to four new grants totaling just under $8 million to local organizations working to prevent or reduce chronic homelessness in their communities. These grants are in addition to $81.5 million in grants awarded under this program in September 2009.
