Researchers have that long-term antibiotic use can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke in women. The research involved 36,429 women from The Nurses' Health Study.
Recent clinical research data reported that the investigational amyloid imaging agent [18F]Flutemetamol showed highly consistent image interpretation1 and showed comparable in vitro binding to the Pittsburgh Compound-B investigational imaging agent3.
In a study that investigates the challenges of disseminating clinical research findings in peer-reviewed biomedical journals, Yale School of Medicine researchers have found that fewer than half of a sample of trials primarily or partially funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) were published within 30 months of completing the clinical trial.
In this Lancet opinion piece, Ruchama Marton, president and founder of Physicians for Human Rights – Israel writes, "Everything one can say about the health-care system in Palestine was summed up by the physician and political leader Haidar Abdel-Shafi … in September, 1993. He said: 'We cannot take care of health and education as long as we live under occupation.'"
