Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the Company and certain of its subsidiaries to voluntarily file under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act in order to continue implementation of its previously announced recapitalization transaction.

New findings from an international research collaboration conducted by the French National Institute for Agronomic Research (INRA), involving the Universit- de Montr-al are the first to show how the contaminating E.coli bacterium is able to survive in the competitive environment of a cow's intestine by scavenging specific food sources.
The results from an informal survey on AD/HD released today reinforce existing scientific research that the disorder does not affect children alone, and when left undiagnosed until adulthood, can create much larger relationship challenges for those with the disorder.
Cardiac arrest survivors who are more mindful, or aware of the present in a nonjudgmental way, reported fewer symptoms of depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder than survivors who are less mindful, according to preliminary research to be presented at the American Heart Association's Resuscitation Science Symposium (ReSS) 2021.
