Pfizer Oncology today announced that important data from its lung cancer and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) portfolios will be presented at the upcoming European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in Vienna, Austria, September 28 - October 2, 2012.
A team of researchers recently optimized regimens for CVac, wherein aseptic, purified, cryopreserved, and infectious PfSPZ were inoculated and mixed with PYR and CQ.
The Daily Monitor examines efforts underway to improve sanitation and promote hygiene in Ethiopia. According to the country's Ministry of Health, "sanitation coverage of Ethiopia has made progressive achievement reaching 54.8% in the current year from 11.5% in 2003," the newspaper reports.
Scientists and researchers from the Northern Illinois Proton Treatment and Research Center (NIPTRC) and Northern Illinois University along with their partners are developing a new imaging process using a proton beam that they believe will be a major medical breakthrough in the delivery of proton beam therapy for cancer patients.
