Researchers from the University of Oxford have today reported on findings on the vaccinated people who are at greatest risk from severe Covid-19 leading to hospitalization or death from 14 days post the second dose vaccination, when substantial immunity should be expected.
The United States is quickly losing ground as the global leader in medical innovation and must pursue coordinated action at the highest levels of government to ensure U.S. competitiveness, create high-paying jobs and find cures to costly and life-threatening diseases, according to a new study prepared by Battelle.
They did the first procedure of its kind by injecting the dissolvable liquid device into a patient - a Victorian grandmother. The device flows to the damaged heart muscle and helps it repair. The liquid is derived from seaweed and was injected into Pauline Fulton's heart, a fortnight ago, two days after she suffered a major heart attack.
In an effort to better understand the development of Alzheimer's disease, Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland are collaborating to identify the biomarker assay that may predict early onsets of the disease.
