Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc., today launched a new and unique solution to detect DNA base modifications associated with epigenetic regulation and DNA damage using the PacBio RS High Resolution Genetic Analyzer.
A team of Ludwig Cancer Research scientists has mapped out how a mutant version of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) known as EGFRvIII specifically drives critical processes that alter the reading of the genome to fuel the growth of the brain cancer glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and-most important-how each process is linked to the other.
FNeoDeck Holdings, Puerto Rico's leading provider of healthcare management solutions, today announced it has partnered with DataMotion, an accredited health information service provider (HISP) supplying email encryption solutions for clinical and non-clinical exchange of protected health information (PHI).
PET and MRI preclinical imaging systems can now be operated simultaneously for the first time by researchers. This follows the introduction of MR Solutions' commercially available MRS-PET system which is inserted within the cryogen free 3T, 4.7T, or 7T MRI magnet.
People who have recovered from COVID-19 had a robust antibody response after the first mRNA vaccine dose, but little immune benefit after the second dose, according to new research from the Penn Institute of Immunology. The findings, published today in Science Immunology, suggest only a single vaccine dose may be needed to produce a sufficient antibody response.
