A new study suggests that while it's fairly common for parents to give their children cranberry products to treat or prevent urinary tract infections, they usually do not discuss the treatment with their pediatrician.
A new collaborative study led by researchers at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, published today in Cell Reports, provides new insight into the molecular changes that lead to resistance to a commonly prescribed group of drugs called BRAF inhibitors.
Army personnel involved in the Iraqi invasion of 2003 have not absorbed dangerous levels of depleted uranium, finds research published ahead of print in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Synexus' expansion in Central and Eastern Europe has been boosted with the acquisition of three more clinical trial centres in Poland.
The drug has already been approved as a treatment for HIV/AIDS. The FDA is expected to decide about approval by June 15.
