A new study has found that the complex mixture of sugars, proteins and fats in mother's milk possesses certain properties that can protect babies against bacterial infections like Streptococci too. Researchers from Vanderbilt University looked at the antibacterial properties of breast milk and found that the sugars in it have antibacterial properties and also work to enhance the antibacterial properties of the proteins in breast milk.
Intensifying current transplant conditioning to remove rather than suppress immune cells ahead of autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplantation may result in long-term remission of multiple sclerosis, phase II trial findings show.
Viatronix Incorporated, a Stony Brook, New York, based company announced that its V3D-Colon software is used at the National Naval Medical Center where the President's annual physical was done. "Our software is being utilized at several DOD facilities since the landmark Virtual Colonoscopy clinical trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine back in December 2003," said Zaffar Hayat, President of Viatronix Incorporated.
Today, American Trucking Associations announces HireRight as the first ATA Corporate Partner, in recognition of its long-term commitment to ATA and the trucking industry.
