Exiqon A/S, a leader in microRNA analysis products and services, and MultiD Analyses AB, a leader in comprehensive software solutions for qPCR data analysis, today announced a Development and Distribution Agreement incorporating a specifically adapted version of the GenEx qPCR analysis software for Exiqon's new microRNA qPCR platform. The agreement allows Exiqon to sell a fully compatible and comprehensive data analysis solution to complete their microRNA qPCR offering.
A new clinical study has found that erlotinib, a targeted antitumor agent, has promising potential to improve treatment for cervical cancer. Published early online in CANCER, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Cancer Society, the results indicate that larger trials are warranted to determine whether the drug should become part of standard therapy for women with the disease.
Results of a new study led by the University of Maryland School of Public Health show that people infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 exhale infectious virus in their breath – and those infected with the Alpha variant (the dominant strain circulating at the time this study was conducted) put 43 to 100 times more virus into the air than people infected with the original strains of the virus.
