Pharmacyclics, Inc. today announced the launch of informCLL, a large, observational, prospective registry that will explore the natural history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), examine how IMBRUVICA (ibrutinib) and other approved targeted therapies are being used to treat patients with CLL, and provide a comparison to treatments using conventional chemoimmunotherapy (CIT).
Researchers have developed an integrated, wearable system that monitors a user's environment, heart rate and other physical attributes with the goal of predicting and preventing asthma attacks.
Ultrasound measurements of the volume of the left atrium taken soon after a heart attack can help physicians predict a patient's five-year mortality rate, according to a new study in the July 21, 2004 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
