The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria on Friday appealed to international donors to join them in an effort to fight medicine theft, SAPA/News24 reports.
Dr. Gregory Bix, Paul G. Blazer J. Professor of Stroke Research in the University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Center on Aging and the UK departments of Anatomy and Neurobiology and Neurology, has received funding of $224,416 from the National Institutes of Health, to further study of stroke recovery.
Tall people are more prepared to take risks than small people, women are more careful than men, and the willingness to take risks markedly decreases with age: these are the findings arrived at by researchers from the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), the University of Bonn and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) in Berlin.
Allos Therapeutics, Inc. today announced updated data from its ongoing dose finding Phase 1 study of FOLOTYN (pralatrexate injection) in patients with relapsed or refractory cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, a group of often slow-growing non-Hodgkins lymphomas that primarily manifest in the skin. These data were presented during a poster presentation at the European Hematology Association meeting being held June 10-13, 2010 in Barcelona, Spain.
