Provectus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a development-stage oncology and dermatology biopharmaceutical company, has completed patient accrual in its Phase 2C clinical trial of PH-10 for the treatment of psoriasis. PH-10, an aqueous hydrogel formulation of Rose Bengal disodium for topical administration to the skin, is being studied for the treatment of cutaneous skin disorders, specifically psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
The American Geriatrics Society today released its second updated and expanded Beers Criteria-lists of potentially inappropriate medications for older adults who are not receiving hospice or palliative care, and one of the most frequently cited reference tools in the field of geriatrics.

The first-ever Canadian Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) on the Management and Prevention of Obesity in Adults and Children, published April 10, 2007 in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ), recommend that waist circumference be measured in all Canadian adults, and that a national surveillance system be developed that incorporates this measurement along with height and weight.
