A new report from the Kaiser Family Foundation, titled "Innovative Financing Mechanisms for Global Health: Overview and Considerations for U.S. Government Participation," "examines some of the most prominent new financing mechanisms for global health across a broad range of categories, with particular attention to the current level of U.S. government involvement," according to a KFF press release.
According to a new study, if the smokers are provided with free electronic cigarettes to help them kick the habit, the efforts may be in vain. The study shows that giving them money helps them instead. The study appeared in the latest issue of the The New England Journal of Medicine this week.
People who delay or refuse vaccines for themselves or their children are presenting a growing challenge for countries seeking to close the immunization gap.
