A recent study conducted by researchers from the US aimed to measure the impact of severity of COVID-19 on memory B cell response and characterize changes in the memory B cell compartment during the period between recovery and five months after symptom onset. Aerovance Inc. has announced that it has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.K. Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to initiate Aerovance's Phase IIb clinical trial, AeroTrial(TM), of inhaled dry powder Aerovant in patients with uncontrolled asthma.
Scientists from two U.S. national laboratories, industry and academia today launched an unprecedented effort to transform the way cancer drugs are discovered by creating an open and sharable platform that integrates high-performance computing, shared biological data from public and industry sources and emerging biotechnologies to dramatically accelerate the discovery of effective cancer therapies.
