After nearly two decades building her company into the industry leader for third-party review of dental insurance claims, Dianne Rose, D.D.S., and principal of P&R Dental Strategies, Inc., was frustrated. In spite of many advances over the years in both dental x-ray technologies and the average quality of images supplied for review of dental claims, there was no consistency and, all-too-often, regardless of how up-to-date the x-ray equipment being used may have been, the images supplied were blurred and nearly useless for making accurate diagnostic determinations.
Agendia, a world leader in molecular cancer diagnostics, today announced that researchers from Agendia and leading academic centers in the U.S. and Europe will present data from multiple studies concerning Agendia's assays MammaPrint(R), BluePrint(TM), and ColoPrint(TM) at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting, June 4 - 8, 2010, at McCormick Place in Chicago. MammaPrint, the company's lead product, is the only FDA-cleared breast cancer recurrence test.
A team of researchers working at the University of Bristol has found a potential new treatment for listeriosis, a deadly form of food poisoning. Their work is reported in Nature Medicine.
MD Pathways, LLC announced today a five-year partnership with The IPA Association of America (TIPAAA), the nation's largest independent physicians association with over 700 IPA members representing more than 300,000 MDs nationwide.
