The results of their study are outlined in the paper 'Altered connections on the road to psychopathy', published in Molecular Psychiatry.
Scientists at Johns Hopkins have shown in laboratory experiments in mice that blocking the action of a signaling protein deep inside the heart's muscle cells blunts the most serious ill effects of high blood pressure on the heart. These include heart muscle enlargement, scar tissue formation and loss of blood vessel growth.
UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group company, has ended its limited use of rescissions effective immediately, except in cases of fraud or intentional misrepresentation of material fact. This change in policy is well ahead of the September 23, 2010 implementation date as required in the recently passed health reform legislation.
