Persons in their late middle age are not too late to work on their exercise routines to improve their heart health, finds a new study. Two years of aerobic exercises, at least four to five days a week can reverse the damage caused by years of sedentary non-active life before and also reduce the risk of heart failure. The study was published in the latest issue of the journal Circulation.
Incyte Corporation today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted marketing approval for Jakafi (ruxolitinib) for the treatment of patients with intermediate or high-risk myelofibrosis (MF), including primary MF, post-polycythemia vera MF and post-essential thrombocythemia MF.
Early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, health officials seized on contact tracing as the most effective way to anticipate the virus's migration from the initial, densely populated hot spots and try to curb its spread.
Findings from three research studies have shown that around three quarters of cancer patients who suffer from major depression do not receive treatment for their depression and that a newly developed medical programme has proven more effective than standard care at reducing depression in these patients.
