This provides CyDex with full development and commercialization rights to the product candidate - an injectable formulation of clopidogrel. Clopidogrel is the active ingredient in PLAVIX®, an orally available antiplatelet drug, which currently is marketed by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and Sanofi-Aventis, Inc.
