DataMotion today announced the company continues to experience rapid growth as a leading health information service provider (HISP) of Direct Secure Messaging for electronic health records (EHR) and HIPAA compliant email encryption. A growing number of EHR system vendors, health information exchanges (HIE) and healthcare providers are selecting both DataMotion Direct and DataMotion SecureMail for their interoperability, scalability and rapid deployment capabilities.
A collaboration between National Cancer Centre Singapore and Clearbridge BioMedics, in partnership with the Pathology Department at Singapore General Hospital has resulted in the establishment of the region's first Circulating Tumour Cell Centre of Research Excellence. This new Centre facilitates the use of circulating tumour cells in clinical diagnostics, in order for new technologies to be applied by healthcare institutions.
A genetically diverse mouse model is able to predict the range of response to chemical exposures that might be observed in human populations, researchers from the National Institutes of Health have found. Like humans, each Diversity Outbred mouse is genetically unique, and the extent of genetic variability among these mice is similar to the genetic variation seen among humans.
The combination of heat, chemotherapeutic drugs and an innovative delivery system based on nanotechnology may significantly improve the treatment of ovarian cancer while reducing side effects from toxic drugs, researchers at Oregon State University report in a new study.
