Interventions to alleviate this stress are not always effective, leaving caregivers isolated to deal with their stresses.
In general, our knowledge of biology-and much of science in general-is limited by our ability to actually see things. Researchers who study developmental problems and disease, in particular, are often limited by their inability to look inside an organism to figure out exactly what went wrong and when.
Results from two Phase III, placebo-controlled clinical trials found that approximately two-thirds of patients with moderate to severe, active ulcerative colitis (UC) treated with Remicade (infliximab, 5mg/kg) demonstrated a significant improvement in symptoms.
Duke University Medical Center researchers at have found a strong correlation between caffeine intake at mealtime and increased glucose and insulin levels among people with type-2 diabetes.
The New York Times: A civil trial against the drugmaker Merck is now underway in Manhattan.
