The Healthcare Financial Management Association recently reviewed CDM Master, CDM Manager, CDM Enterprise, Charge Capture Audit, Comparative Rate Modeling, Strategic Pricing, KnowledgeSource, ABN Manager and Contract Manager using the Peer Review Process. After undergoing the rigorous review, these MedAssets' products have met the standards to receive the "Peer Reviewed by HFMA" designation.
A major challenge around treating psoriasis is communication - psoriasis can flare and resolve in between appointments so it can be difficult to express and describe the life impact of these flares and recall possible triggers and response to treatments. The use of probiotics has been proposed to ameliorate different gastrointestinal tract diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, etc. However, little attention has been paid to the use of probiotics in gastric disease.
Since 2006, several published studies have associated the use of some acid suppression medications in hospitalized high-risk babies with infections, necrotizing enterocolitis and increased risk of death. Those medications - histamine-2 receptor antagonists, such as ranitidine (Zantac and others), and proton pump inhibitors, such as esomeprazole (Nexium and others) - were originally approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in adults and older children.
