In a new study of patients with autism who are 18 years old and under, researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and Soroka University Medical Center report that cannabis as a treatment for autism spectrum disorders appears to be a well-tolerated, safe and effective option to relieve symptoms including seizures, tics, depression, restlessness, and rage attacks.
Access MediQuip, LLC, the largest provider of surgical implant management solutions in the country and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), the largest provider of health benefits in Texas, announced today an agreement for Access MediQuip to provide specialized implant surgical management services to BCBSTX's vast membership across the State of Texas. This could strengthen the case for drinking tea to help prevent dementia. The study is important because, unlike most others which look only at tests of mental ability, it also examined structural brain changes with tea drinking.
