Genmab A/S has announced that its partner Roche has filed an Investigational New Drug application (IND) with the US Food and Drug Administration for a Genmab antibody developed under the companies' collaboration.

In findings likely to make it easier and faster for stem cell biologists to generate patient-specific embryonic-like stem cells, researchers at Children's Hospital Boston have reprogrammed adult blood cells into induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.
Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc., a developer of oral delivery systems, today announced that Oramed entered into a Manufacturing Supply Agreement with sanofi-aventis. According to the MSA, sanofi-aventis will supply Oramed with specified quantities of recombinant human insulin to be used by Oramed for its clinical trials in the USA.
