To monitor antibody level duration of vaccine-induced immune responses, a team of researchers in the U.S. – at Diacarta, University of California and VA Healthcare System, and the Franciscan University of Steubenville – evaluated the feasibility of using a single drop of fingerstick blood collected with flocked swabs for quantitative antibody response evaluation after COVID-19 vaccination.
"We have analysed emotional traits of low intensity. In this context, the higher the negative emotional traits are, the fewer risks taken by the bodies managed by the directors", Juan Bautista Delgado Garc-a, co-author of the study and researcher at UBU declares to SINC.
It has been thought that men with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), a lack of sperm in the semen not caused by an obstruction within the reproductive system, are poor candidates for IVF. Now, researchers writing in the open access journal Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology have shown that sperm from men with NOA and obstructive azoospermia (OA) are equally capable of producing embryos.
For those with type 2 diabetes, the most prevalent kind, a person's eating habits - their basic eating practices, selections while dining out, meal planning and carbohydrate and vegetable strategies - matter as much or more as medicine for maintaining blood sugar control, says a Penn State researcher.
While access to mental health services may be limited by financial, logistical and/or practical factors among recently migrated families, a new study by University of Houston psychology researchers suggests that maximizing sleep can offer psychological benefit to adolescents in this at-risk group.
